You’ll know that we don’t believe in harnesses. Harnesses were designed for sled dogs to distribute their weight evenly as they pulled sleds etc. They were NOT designed for puppy lead training or indeed to counteract the human laziness in not training any dog of any age to walk to heel properly. Martingales don’t choke or hurt your pup when used correctly. Neither do they slip over the head. You’ll have a loose lead trained dog within weeks using one of these and this is our favourite brand. This one even comes with a training guide on how to use it correctly, which is a bonus!
